Stop wasting your time!

Did you know you are probably spending more time
resting in between sets than you are actually working
out, you are losing valuable workout time.

This is the way most men train they think one set on
the bench is getting a workout, the total time for 10 reps
are probably at most 20 seconds at a good pace- than they
will walk around for two to five minutes before they go to the
next set, no wonder people are spending so much time in the
gym and are not getting the results that they want.

If you are doing three sets on the bench press it will take you
about one minute total to complete three sets on the bench
press and anywhere from six to fifteen minutes rest time,
no wonder you are spending 2 plus hours a day in the gym.

Working out for one minute compared to six to fifteen minutes
of rest do you reallythink you are going to get in to shape
exercising in this manner. You can get in to shape working
this way, but it will take forever.

If you don't think people take this much time or more
between sets time yourself or other people in the gym and
see how many people are wasting valuable workout time.

If you are just doing the basic workout like:
1. bench press 3 sets 8 to 10 reps
2. flys 2 sets 8 to 10 reps
3. incline press 3 sets 8 to 10 reps
4. shoulder press 3 sets 8 to 10 reps
5. lateral raises 2 sets 8 to 10 reps
6. leg press 3 sets 8 to 10 reps
7. leg extensions 3 sets 10 reps
8. hamstring curls 2 sets 10 reps
and all the arm exercises you can possibly do in a day biceps,
triceps whatever.

This the way most people train and it will never change until
these muscle magazines start to put out articles for people
who don't have all day to train.

For the sample workout above would take about 6
minutes of actual workout time and 45 minutes of rest
time- this is a fact, and this is being kind.

What if you changed this around and worked out for
45 minutes and only rested for 6 minutes, what kind of
shape do you think you would be in ? EXCELLENT

The key to get into the quickest shape is to limit the
rest between sets and work to get the workout done so
you don't burn out and give up exercising ,you don't need
an hour or more to workout.

Thoughts Shape our Lives

Negative thoughts are the reason people never acquire
what they truly want out of life, if you are in constant
doubt you will have a real problem acquiring the things
in life that will give you joy, and we are supposed to live
in joy.

We live with thoughts - thoughts shape our lives
and until we can learn to control our thoughts we will
always have struggles and live lives that everyone
else wants us to live.

We should be able to live life on our own terms- not
someone else's it's our life not someone else's.

Why should we be told what kind of life we should live,
what kind of job we should have- after all it is your life.
Do the the things that give you joy and you will start
to realize that doing the things that make you happy
you will in turn be able to make the people around you
happy.

Also take time to do the things you love- make time for
yourself, this is important as long as you are taking care
of the business at hand you should not worry about what
anyone else says.

If you are not happy with your present lifestyle do things
to improve it- if you don't like your job, change it- if you
need to exercise to become healthy and fit - do it, if you
you want to spend more time with your family, make the
time, you control you.

Fat people are at it again.

I just heard that because of the obesity problem
the government is going to start controlling everyone's
portions when ever we go out to eat I thought this was
a free country.

But, because the fat people choose to be lazy, we suffer
why should people that are thin, or physically active suffer,
let the fat suffer.

Put a scale in the restaurants and weight the fat people or
don't let fat people in all-you-can-eat buffets.

These fat people know their fat and they won't do anything
about it so now other people have to suffer.

We are supposed to be adults not little kids so why should
someone monitor eating habits of anyone.

If the fat want to eat themselves to death let them, they know
what needs to be done.

If they don't have enough respect for themselves and their
bodies why should we.

If they would just keep their mouth shut then the obesity rate
would drop, try a little exercise it won't hurt, but I guess that's
not going to happen.

Wildman Laws

Wildman training is all about attitude:

  • A Wildman does not make excuses.
  • A Wildman trains for functional strength.
  • A Wildman works hard, so hard that it is often a
  • frightening site....that the average person stays away.
  • A Wildman keeps an open mind.
  • A Wildman never stops learning.
  • A Wildman gets strong without using gyms.
  • A Wildman takes responsibility for his own actions.
  • A Wildman doesn't " quit" .

A real man never makes excuses, they always get the job done
no matter what comes their way "they never quit" and never will.

I call these men "wildmen", a wildman has an iron will,
they will go long and hard to get the job done.

A wildman always want's to succeed at the task at hand,
and will always see it through.

A wildman will train anywhere, he never needs
a gym he will train indoors, outdoors in garages
on the road and even on vacation.

When you train hard you have to be ready physically
and mentally, if you are not ready mentally you will fail.

But, here's where being a wildman is different a wildman
will continue until he is done- he will push through the pain
and fininsh the task at hand.

We have a saying:

"I'd rather die than give up"

This is the way we train, and most think that it is crazy to train
with that much intensity and to live by such a "motto" I don't..
It has made me a stronger person physically and mentally and
everybody that has trained this way.

There is always time to exercise.

Most people will say they have no time to exercise
well I say it's because they are soft and weak.

If they really wanted to train they could find time but
most would rather make excuses instead of doing
something that would improve their health and lives.

If these people just stopped making excuses and check
around they would find that they could get a great workout
in 5 minutes or less.

Here is a quick 5 minute workout that will have you
gasping for air:

Each exercise is done for 1 minute-no rest

  • Burpees
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Hindu Squats
  • Pushups
  • Squat thrusts
You move to each exercise after 1 minute example you do
burpees 1 minute than you move right into jumping jacks
and so on until you finish.

All exercises are to be done and as quick and explosive
as you can.

Suck it up and see how long you can go.

Train hard and never give up

Want to become a better athlete - train explosive

Almost every person that goes to the gym thinks
that they are athletic, this is just not the case.

Going to the gym running on a treadmill does not
equal total fitness neither does having a big
bench press.

So many people are under the impression that the
gym will make the total athlete. WRONG!
The way you become the total athlete is to train
to be an athlete, want to be strong train with
heavy resistance.

If a sprinter trains for long distance his speed
will not improve, he has to work sprints.
So many people train to slow, thinking slower is
better. In some case this may be true, however
if you train slow you will become slow,if you want
to be fast train for speed, want to become explosive
train explosive.

Every sport has some kind of explosive movement
whether you sprinting in football, swing a baseball
bat, jumping on the basketball court all require
explosive training.

Almost all movements done on a daily basis are some
kind of explosive movement.
People don't bend over slow for a 10 count, they bend
fast, and usually will hurt their back from this simple
movement.

Bodyweight training is all you need to become physically fit
in record time.

Bodyweight training works the body from different angles
and will work the whole body in less time.

So before you train slow all the time, think do you want
to be slow or fast
