The bench press is overrated

The bench press is not how we measure physical fitness
the bench press measures the amount of weight you can push
off your chest, and that's it.

So if you want to bench press...that's o.k. go ahead, but don't
kid yourself into thinking you are physically fit-your not, we
have all been sucked in with this exercise, this is what these
suck-ass fitness magazines want us to believe.

True physical fitness is being well rounded, someone that can
do anything that needs to be done without getting tired, someone
that can do whatever comes his way, running, jumping, climbing,
playing sports whatever.

People today are so pathetic, and so physically weak that they
should be ashamed of themselves and if the bench press is todays
measure of physical fitness then we are kidding ourselves.

If you want bad shoulders, elbows, back, go ahead and train the
bench press if you want total physical fitness train with your
bodyweight, if your strong enough.

Train hard,

Bodyweight Training

Bodyweight training is the best method for getting into
shape in record time, despite what the so called experts
say.

Being a hard-core weight trainer my whole life, trying
every super bodybuilders training program, I thought
that I would get huge training this way- WRONG!

I did get strong, but was missing all the real componets
of true physical fitness, and it wasn't until I started too
really put bodyweight training to the test that I got the
results I was searching for along.

The results were incredible, and bodyweight training was
harder than any weight training session that I was ever
involved in.

I was doing things physically and mentally that I was never
able to do, training with weights, this was a wake up call.

If you think that bodyweight training will limit you, I can
tell you that you are only limited by your own mind.

Weight trainers can't do my workouts- at first, if a 300Lb
bench press is your goal, lift weights, if total physical fitness
is your goal nothing will beat bodyweight training.

Strip away the fat with burpees

Do you want to strip away the body fat try burpees.
Burpees are some kind of sick result producing exercise
that will strip the fat away, if you can manage to them.

Burpees will get the job done, they will burn fat like no
other exercise, they will make you into a fat burning machine.

Burpees are extremely demanding and are not for the weak,
they will produce great results if done on a regular basis, but
because of the intensity people will quickly abandon these
monsters because this kind of toutre is not worth it.

Burpees done with or without a pushup are hard either way,
if you are going to do burpees you better be ready physically
and mentally or you will quickly give these up in search for
less demanding exercise.

I believe in short, intense, explosive types of exercise for
overall fitness, health, fat burning and athletism.

However, most people will not train in this fashion because
it is just too hard, and unless you are in shape you should be
careful when exercising too intense you don't want to become
injured.

But, if you want too become a fat burning machine do burpees
and you will strip away the fat from the whole body in record time.

For the people that are not sure what a burpee is:

Start in a standing postion- squat down- put hands on floor-
kick your legs back- ( you are in a pushup position ) bring them
back to the chest- stand up- and jump

This 1 rep continue until you are tired.

Start pushing the floor

Don't miss out on the benefits of pushups, when done correctly
they can be a very brutal form of exercise, pushups have been
used for many, many years and they have stood the test of time.

why ? Because they work, they have always worked and they
will continue to work you will get great benefits doing pushups
not to mention a total body workout .

The great thing about the pushups is that they can be done
anywhere, anytime and there are so many variations that
you will always be in for a challenge.

Pushups will work: fingers, hands, forearms, biceps, triceps,
shoulders, traps, upper back, lower back, abs, glutes, hamstrings,
quads, calf, feet,

You can do them anyway you like slow, fast, explosive.
You can make pushups as hard or as easy as you want
them to be.

If you don't think pushups are worth doing - try this simple test,
get into a pushup position and hold the pushup position for five
minutes and after one minute most people will know-that they
are in for four more minutes of pain.

As a result... your body will start to shake, you will start to sweat,
your body will want to collapse in a heap on the floor and then you
will know that the pushup can be a very effective exercise.

So get down and start pushing floor.
